Guardino Elementary, was named
after Salvatore "Sam" Guardino. He was the school principal. Unfortunately he
died in 1986. To honor his thirty two years of dedicated service as a teacher, principal,
elementary supervisor and friend of education. He showed the highest qualities of honesty,
dignity, and loyalty to this school, church, community, and family.
