Winter Environmental Weekend 2000

… a conference addressing the health of the Natural Community and Environment of the St. Lawrence River.

To be held February 4th- 6th, 2000 at the Riveredge Resort in Alexandria Bay, NY.

Agenda:

 

Friday, February 4th:
6-8 pm: Welcome to Winter Weekend! Enjoy light hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar in the Harborview Room.

Saturday, February 5th:
9 am: Half hour environmental presentations will begin. Topics will include Wildlife Conservation, Shoreline Stewardship Programs, St. Lawrence River Water Levels and their effects on the Environment, Exotic Species and More… Time will be allowed for lunch and coffee breaks. $5.00 registration.
6-7 pm: Cocktail Hour with light hors d’ oeuvres and a chance to view auction items.
7 pm: Dinner overlooking the River with keynote speaker Dr. Edward Mills of Cornell University speaking about exotic species, followed by our annual Fundraising Auction.

Sunday, February 6th:
9 am: Save the River Board of Directors hold their first meeting of 2000 in the Harborview room.
