| New Executive Director at Save The River, Inc. |

| Save The River, Inc. has undergone a change in leadership as of the first of July. Hilary Grimes, who filled the position of Executive Director for the past two years has left to attend Clarkson University, where she has been accepted into a Ph.D. program in Environmental Manufacturing Management. The position has been filled by Stephanie Weiss, a long time resident of the Thousands Islands. Ms. Weiss has a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Bard College, and six years of research, analysis & consulting experience in the environmental field, as well as two years as an educator of chemistry in a Cape Vincent alternative program. |

| Ms. Weiss looks forward to both maintaining and expanding Save The River's current programs such as Muskie Release and Sewage surveying, and also to creating a more comprehensive water quality program for the organization's future. | |
